While the Belgian Oud Bruins are typically found in the Flanders region of Belgium, they are not limited to the area. This particular brew is deep copper to brown in color and is light to medium-bodied. Taste is described as diverse from smooth and sweet to a slight vinegary, sourness or spiciness. There is no hop flavor or aroma, however a fruity flavor and aroma is perceptible. Low levels of roasted malt flavors and aromas are good and usually old and new Brown ales are blended.
