Gueuze

About This Style

The intense Belgian Gueuze is a combination of young and old Lambics, which are then bottled and aged for up to three years in order to reach the desired style and flavor. The result is a stronger version of Lambic with a dryer and fruitier essence. With an increased sourness and the absence of hops, the brew is often referred to as a harsh Lambic.
