The Belgian Saison presents a sturdy and complex style. With a tendency to feature strong flavors and the aroma of fruit, this ale is generally semi-dry with only a hint of sweetness. The combination of earthy yeast tones with the generous addition of spices provide a restrained tartness along with a medium bitterness. Historically this farmhouse brew was produced in the deep of winter to later be enjoyed during the summer months.
