American Amber Ale is a style of American Pale Ale that orginated on the west coast. The brew is primarily a colored ale that is reddish in color and closely related to Irish Red Ales. Pours are medium body and focus on a caramel malt flavor with a medium to high hop rate. This balanced beer often has a light fruitiness.
