Belgian Style Lambic

About This Style

Light-bodied Belgian-Style Lambics feature a tart flavor from the wild yeast and bacteria used in the fermentation process. However it is the use of a large amount of wheat that awakens the freshness. To ensure that the tartness is in line with the style, Lambics are aged before offered for consumption.

Food Pairing Notes: Sharp Cheeses (Blue, Cheddar), Pungent Cheeses (Gorgonzola, Limburger)
