Pumpkin Ales vary in taste and color. Brewers may include hand-cut pumpkins in the mash or even pumpkin puree or flavoring. Additional spices can include cloves, ground ginger, allspice, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Typically brews are mild with little to no bitterness.
