Cream Ale

Cream Ale

About This Style

Cream Ales are pale straw to pale gold specialty beers with generally a light and refreshing taste. Corn or rice are used to lighten the body of the brew. While there is some hop aroma, these brews tend to have a low level of hop bittering. Cream Ales are top-fermented beers and they also undergo an extended period of cold-conditioning.

Food Pairing Notes: General (Salad), Cheese (peppery; Monterey / Pepper Jack)
