Maibock

 

About This Style

Maibock beer is lighter in color than other Bock beers. Maibock shares the same alcohol content as the traditional Bock yet it has signifcantly more hop character. The flavor is less malty and may be drier, hoppier and more bitter.

Food Pairing Notes: Cuisine (Italian, German), Meat (Fish, Shellfish, Salmon), Cheese (nutty; Asiago, Colby, Parmesan)
