About This Style

Japanese Rice Lager is brewed primarily with large amounts of rice. The pale yellow color, malty character, moderate bitterness and dry finish give it a distinctive taste and aroma. Japanese Rice Lagers contain a certain amount of barley but it is the rice that defines the taste and alcohol content.
